Hacking of a website or a web site being down for a while is not a very pleasant experience. But more damage is done to the reputation of a company if hacked website is visible to more visitors and also if search engines pick that up and store hacked content in their cache.Even its a greater damage to the reputation of a company if there site is down. To minimize this damage best option is to protect the website but as no protection tends to be full proof and can be expensive, this Joomla module can be a watchdog to your website with lowest possible cost. Moreover you are not outright purchasing it. You have to just subscribe it. If you don't want to use it further, you can remove it from your website anytime and cancel the subscription. This module checks the status of your site, if your site is hacked or if your site is down  you will be intimated to the provided email .The primary work of the module is to checks if any changes are being made to your site or your site is down periodically and if found an notification email is sent to the desired email id.

Hence the main jobs of the moudule are :-

1. Check if your site is hacked periodically.
2. Check if your site is down periodically.

and if any of the above are found you will be notified to provided email.

Installation procedure:-

Download the zip file.There is no need to unzip this, as it's a package, just go to Extensions->Install/Uninstall and upload the zip.The  module will be installed automatically.The first thing to do after installing, is go to this module in module manager and then in parameters provide the email details .The email id is the one which will be used by the module to report any activities if found. One email id is provided enable the module and all is done.

Note :-

1) ONCE SUBCRIBED, YOU NEED TO REGISTER ON OUR SITE AFTER DOWNLOADING THE MODULE OR BEFORE INSTALLING IT.WHILE REGISTERING YOU MUST PROVIDE ALL  CORRECT DETAILS. WITHOUT YOUR REGISTRATION ON OUR SITE THE MODULE WILL NOT WORK.

2) EVERY TIME YOU MAKE CHANGES TO YOUR INDEX.PHP PAGE OR YOU REINSTALL THE MODULE, YOU NEED TO RESET YOUR MODULE. HENCE AN EMAIL WILL BE SENT TO YOU WITH THE RESET LINK EVERY TIME CHANGES ARE SEEN.
